Charles Billot is a Photographer / Filmmaker based in New York City working in both art and commerce.

Growing up between Southeast Asia and Europe, he learned most of his craft at a young age, exploring the vibrant streets and cultures with a 1970s film camera in hand. Back in Paris in the early 2000’s he split his time between his studio and a post production ad agency where he learn to master his expertise in filmmaking and editing on a the more commercial aspect. Upon moving to New York City, his concentration on fine art, fashion and music videos began to flourish, heralding development in narrative and feature films.

With involvement in several group and solo exhibitions, Charles continues to explore the mediums and disciplines of both art and commerce to create a perfect vision and well-rounded creative outlook. His works have been exhibited in group shows along Victoria Bartlett at Hamden Inn, at the Loom Gallery, Jack the Pelican Gallery, and a solo show at the Pool Art Fair in Chelsea NY. His work has been reviewed in Purple Magazine, Dazed, Fader, Vice, and L’Officiel and has worked with commercial clients such as Isaac Mizrahi, Squarespace, Kiehl’s,  3Asfour, Jill Stuart, Vera Wang,  John Varvatos and Spotify.
